Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Siya Nord

Yes, that's right, I couldn't help myself. So here's my Skyrim character, as of right now. I should just make it so I can change out the outfit on separate layers, everytime I upgrade, heh.

Lolla XOXO Trailer Screen Cap

This is from a short trailer I'm animating for my comic book "Lolla XOXO".  So far I've only got 5 seconds of animation done.  There's still a min. to go! 0_o  Oh well, it's worth all the effort for me.

Yoda Sculpty

This is a bust I sculpted almost a year ago, but I guess it doesn't hurt to post it now...I'm sure I'll sculpt more, soon.

Cell Animation

I've estimated it'll take about 150 hours to do 1 min. worth of 2d/cell animation...I've done seconds before and cycles, but this will be a first.  I'm so stoked, its a lot of hard work, but man is it gratifying!  I'll definitely post more processes as I go further a long.  When time arises, I'll also post the animation from my iPhone game.

Betty Boop Sketch

Here's a sketch of Betty Boop.  She will be completely rendered, in the coming weeks.  I have so much going on, wish it didn't have to be this way, but gotta keep on keepin' on.

Vampirella Commission

The hotness of Vampirella for Peter's commisson.  Ran out of Copic Marker ink, so I ended up using water colors to get the some shading as well as the splatter effect.

Red Sonja Commission

I hope to draw more of Red Sonja.  She's so much fun!  This is done for the lovely Claudia Ohm.

Spiderman and MJ

I picked this one first, of all the requests I got from last week.  I think I'll tackle WoW, or Star Craft next week.  We shall see!

Haven't gotten much sleep this week, but today I have to finish the last four commissions, then it's back to the grind tomorrow morning.

MATERIALS:  Strathmore 80 lbs. drawing paper, Staedler 2mm mechanical pencil, Copic Marker, Sakura Pen.

Halo Reach Legendary Statue! LOVE.

A buddy of mine, sent me a copy of Halo Reach Legendary.  I can't emphasize how grateful I am.  Thanks a bunch Joe!  I did some extra Photoshop on this one, had some fun, a little too much fun...  Here's the before and after photos.

Goodies in the mail.

My awesome brother sent me my Fallout 3 and Halo 3, art books!  Along with some Halo ten year anniversary gifts, and the Spiderman camera, from the PAX convention, Seattle, WA.

I'm posting two photos, because one was shot at F/2.8 and the other at F/5.6 w/ a strobe flash, I'm starting to use the strobe, more.  Works much better when it's not collecting dust. :D

My Pet Spike

Yes, I know that is as typical of a name for a pet, as you can get.  Especially a Dino.  What can I say, this would be my dream pet, so much so, that if it were possible in the future I still wouldn't be able to own one.  If you thought lions can eat their owners...

I will definitely be doing more dinosaur sketches very soon!

MATERIALS:  Strathmore 80 lb. Drawing Paper, Copic Markers, and Sakura Pens

Holli from Cool World

One of my favorite characters. Strange as the movie was...it was interesting.

MATERIALS: Strathmore 80 lb. Drawing Paper, Copic Markers, and Sakura Pens

The Little Girl and the Man

When there's nothing left, having each other is the only thing that matters.

A post-apocalyptic sketch of Hollywood.  Per/Request. Great concept, Eric!

MATERIALS: Strathmore 80 lb. Drawing Paper, Sakura Pens, and Water Colors

Darth Yoda

I got a request to draw Darth Sith Yoda from John on my FB, but I figured this would be a more obvious hybrid. He's so adorable and evil looking, at the same time.

MATERIALS: Strathmore 80 lb. Drawing Paper, 2mm Mechanical Pencil, Copic Markers, and Sakura Pens

Unicorn Sketch

Drum roll....AnnnnNNNND, here he is!!! First sketch. Thanks to Sara, from my Facebook Page, for this idea. I love horses very much, it's a wonder I haven't drawn them more. Now if only I can unlock that unicorn from Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare...

MATERIALS: 2MM Mechanical Pencil, Copic Markers, and Sakura Pens.

New Sketch Each Week

Starting September 12th I will be adding a sketch a day on here. Yay, for updating my blog, and actually writing something. It's about time I do that. I'm tired of talking to myself, in my head, gets a bit noisy. :P

With Flaming Inspiration

How can I ever say I am not motivated to work, or create something great. Especially not after tonight. I found my inspiration in the strangest of places. Ones I've never been to, but it seems to have struck a cord with me. I'll be implementing what I've learned from a documentary in my comic "Lolla XOXO". It may not be apparent in Issue #0, but #1 will be an eye opener!

I'll post some concept sketches from the book here very shortly. Getting a few more pages digitally inked this weekend.

Ok, signing off, good night!
